So I thouhgt, how will I send money to my Cash App account right now so that I can send it to his guy too? Then I came accross this strange topic, saying that, "How to Add Cash to Cash App at an ATM?"
Well, is that really possible? If it is possible, it could be amazingly good. That got me thinking, and had to make some researches on that. Well, after all the researches, I came out with this guide to give you guys a proper answer too after all what I got.
Is It Possible to Add Money to Cash App at ATM?
Actually, it is not possible yet to put money in your Cash App card or account at an ATM. This option is not yet available on the ATMs. However, there are several other similar methods that will also help you add money to your Cash App Account or Cash App card.
Some of them are; Via a retailer's shop like 7-Eleven, Dollar General; or you can simply use your linked bank account to add money to your Cash App.
1. Add Cash to Cash App via Linked Bank Account
To send money from bank account to Cash App, first of all have to link them together.

- Firstly, log into your Cash App account and go to the "Banking" tab.
- When there, you should click on "Link Bank" and then you will be directed to a page to provide your bank details.
- Put all required information, and then link your bank account to your Cash App.
Once you have done all of that, you can then proceed to the sending of the money
- Return to your main screen, or log in if you did not log in yet.
- Tap on Cash Balance on the top part of your screen, and then click on the "Add Cash."
- Add all the required details needed including the amount to be loaded into your account, and then select "Add."
- Finally confirm your transaction with your PIN or Touch ID.
Keep in mind that, this process does not cut any transaction fees from your account. So it is the first best and cheap way to add cash to your Cash App.
2. Add Cash to Cash App via Retailer's Shop
Since Cash App has partnered with retailer shops, they have provided a way to quickly get to one and add cash from there. And we will be explaining it below;
First of all log into your Cash App Account with all your credentials.
Then go to the "Banking" tab and click on "Paper Money"
After clicking on Paper money, you should then allow Cash App to access your location, where they will find the nearest retail shop that provides this service.
Once they get the nearest one, tap on its logo and they will provide the address for you to get there.
When you get to the shop, you go directly to the cashier and request that they add money to your account. What they will have to do is to scan the barcode in your account which you will show them.
Give the amount to deposit (whether $100 or $50 or any amount). Make sure to have a $1 fee while going there.
And then verify that they have sent the money to your account. This is an instant transaction to recieve the cash in less than 3minutes.
Why is it Not Possible to send cash to Cash App via ATM?
Cash App is an Online financial institute, and not a full service bank like Bank of America, US Bank, and all the others. Meanwhile you can deposit funds into debit cards at an ATM for these banks, Cash App does not yet have these features.
And if you want to add money to Cash App, you should content yourself with the procedures above, or contact a friend or family to send you cash and you hand them the physical cash.

Cash App just like several other online financial platforms pemit two methods when sending funds, the standard or the instant transfers. For the standard transfers, it can take about 3 days for the transfer to complete, and it is usually done for free without any fees.
However, the instant transfer will permit you to deposit cash instantly in less than 5minutes, and usually comes with a fee for the transfer. which ranges around a dollar.
Final Thoughts on Adding Cash to Cash App at an ATM
While Cash App does not benefit from the amazing features of all the big brick and mortar banks, it is also one of the best financial institutions around the globe and benefits from its own features.
Well, if you where thinking of adding cash into your Cash Card just like you did with your normal bank debit card at an ATM, then you should change your plans because it is not yet available.
Even if it is not yet avaiable, you can still add cash via several other methods as we explained above, including via retailer shops like 7-11, Dollar general, Walmart, Bakers City Market, Sevas Pharmacy, and many others.
